Crucifixion

The secret hidden for the ages is (drum roll please), life is ever evolving, continuously spiraling inward and upward. If you want to experience the fullness of it, take time to know the Spirit of God is in you and in It you live, move and have your being in the essence of all that is.

On our life journey there are times when we see the horizon, that point where there is no beginning, no end and at times cannot fathom seeing it because we are lost in the world of materiality. We have forgotten that we are one with the Universe, that there is no separation, only oneness.

Jesus’ journey taught us nothing is impossible. He set the example of how to move through crucifixion and rise to the Allness that we are. In preparation of our minds to resurrect into Christ consciousness, we move through not one but many crucifixions, crossing out in consciousness errors that have become a part of our belief system.

Letting go of the old and taking on new ideas is not always easy and can be a painful experience. At times it appears we are being tried, convicted and crucified. The way to overcome and move through these experiences is to remember the words of Jesus Christ, take up your cross (human state of consciousness burdened with erroneous beliefs) and follow me, I am the way the Truth and the light. Charles Fillmore, co-founder of the Unity movement wrote, “resurrection takes place when the whole person–spirit, soul, and body come into the Christ consciousness of life and wholeness”.

Join us for our 10:00 a.m. services as we deepen our spiritual journey this Lenten Season. Don’t miss Unity’s Spiritual Communion Service on March 29th. Then we will begin Holy Week with a Special Palm Sunday Service on April 5th, and of course Easter Sunday Service on April 12th.

Have A Joyous Easter!
